In a world of fast everything and instant gratification, it is easy to feel overwhelmed—especially when you are surrounded by clutter and don’t know where to begin. Living
with constant disorganization can quietly affect our mental health, focus, and sense of calm.
As professional organizers, our role is to help reduce that overwhelm and guide you through the decluttering process—so your home or office feels peaceful and supportive once again.
The following are some questions I frequently get asked as a Professional organizer:
Why do I need help? Can’t I do this on my own?
Asking for help is a good thing. When you are feeling overwhelmed with the task at hand, it is advantageous to make it a team effort. Having another person in your space will help you stay focused and create momentum. This technique is called “Body Doubling”. It minimizes distractions and adds fun to an otherwise tedious chore. Decision making becomes easier and you are able to finish what you started.
Where do I even begin?
Start small. It is easy to be paralyzed by all the things that need to be organized in our spaces. Starting small, such as a junk drawer in your kitchen, gives you a defined boundary for organizing. As you conquer this space, you build more confidence to face bigger space challenges.
Is this the worst you’ve ever seen?
No—and there is no such thing. Every space is different. Our job isn’t to judge; it is to support you.
If clutter is affecting your daily life, take the first step toward a calmer, more functional space. Schedule a consultation to learn how we can help.
