Wendy Buglio Consulting is a full-service Move Management and Professional Organizing firm based in Arlington, MA.  We are looking for an energetic, motivated individual to join our team as a Move Manager/Organizer.  We pride ourselves on our ability to build and leverage relationships with our partners, deliver beyond our clients’ expectations by doing whatever it takes, and taking the stress out of our clients’ lives.

Move Manager/Organizer

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Open, direct, and honest client communication to manage expectations throughout the process

  • Project management skills to handle all details of a move, ensuring that we stay on budget and on schedule

  • Pre-move organizing support, working hands-on with clients to declutter and downsize

  • Some removal of unwanted items for donation/recycling 

  • Pack items for donation, or moving, with careful labeling

  • Maintain inventories, task lists, and timelines 

  • Liaise with our trusted partners (junk haulers, donation companies, movers, realtors, stagers, and more)

  • Unpacking and organizing support at destinations

  • Work with professional organizing clients to identify and implement organizing systems and guide clients through the organizing process.

  • Other related tasks may be required based on clients’ needs

This is a part-time position with a fluctuating schedule based on projects that we have going on at any given time.  You will be asked to work some long days on moving/packing days (up to 10-12 hours depending on the project), and some weekends.  You will need to have reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients’ homes and offices in the Greater Boston area. Pay is hourly and will be commensurate with experience.
